Peace and Demilitarisation Co-lead

Karen Hallows has over 20 years’ experience in peace and disarmament education and advocacy, working on nuclear abolition, demilitarisation, and military spending. She has led the Peace Boat’s climate advocacy, with a focus on capacity building and amplifying voices of SIDS youth on the climate frontline. As Co-Lead of the Peace and Demilitarisation Working Group, she works to connect demilitarisation, gender justice, and climate justice within the UNFCCC.
