LIFE – Education Sustainability Equality

LIFE Education Sustainability Equality e.V. works to raise awareness of gender equity in environment and sustainability policy and to integrate it into research, policy-making and environmental organisations, particularly on mitigation in industrialised countries. We prepare position statements and strategies to implement gender mainstreaming, and support effective influence of environment policies from a gender perspective. As WGC founder organisation we have been re-organising women’s involvement in the COP negotiations since 2003, which has led to greater gender integration lobbying and the Women for Climate Justice network.
