Alba Saray Pérez Terán

Mitigation WG co-lead

Alba Saray Pérez Terán is a Spanish ecofeminist co-leading the mitigation working group at WGC. As a policy advisor at Oxfam Belgium she focuses on decolonial and intersectional climate policies and green extractivism, and represents human rights organizations at the Consultative Council on Gender and Development and at the Federal Council on Sustainable Development. She’s also a member of the policy group of the Belgian Climate Coalition which is currently composed of 90 environmental and human rights organizations, trade unions, youth and citizen movements. She has worked for 15 years on climate justice with research organizations and international solidarity movements in Central Africa, South East Asia and Europe.
