Liane Schalatek

Climate Finance WG, co-lead

Liane has worked on climate finance, with a focus on climate finance architecture and multilateral climate funds since 2009, including through the tracking initiative Climate Funds Update (CFU), which she co-founded and still leads. She is an expert on gender-responsive climate finance, and climate fund governance, having followed the GCF and the FRLD from their inception, including for four years as an Active Observer to the GCF. She also co-leads the work on feminist climate finance for the Women and Gender Constituency (WGC).
