Babitha P S
Babitha P. S. is a community organizer and educator from India working with children and youth to promote environmental sustainability and feminist climate justice. Since 2012, she has been deeply engaged in grassroots and feminist activism, co-creating eco-wise communities for just transitions and strengthening local governance. Babitha is part of the “Not Without Us!” project supported by the Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung and serves as an Environmental Justice Fellow with IWRAW Asia Pacific.
Her work focuses on integrating gender justice into international climate politics and amplifying the struggles and resistance of local communities in Kerala and across India. As the founding campaigner of the Sustainable Menstruation Kerala Collective and co-founder of Green Army International, Babitha leads initiatives on menstrual rights, zero-waste education, and toxic-free futures.
