Zoneziwoh Mbondgulo-Wondieh
Dr. Zoneziwoh (“Zone”) Mbondgulo-Wondieh is a Cameroonian feminist advocate, storyteller, and researcher working to advance women’s rights and feminist leadership across Africa. As the Founder and Executive Director of Women for a Change–Cameroon, she leads transformative programs on sexual and reproductive health and rights, feminist movement-building, and youth leadership. For over 15 years, Dr. Zone has worked at the intersection of gender justice, policy advocacy, and digital activism—reaching more than a million girls and women across Central Africa.
An award-winning humanitarian reporter and writer, she was recognized with the Global Citizen Award for Humanitarian Reporting and Storytelling and selected for the Obama–Mandela Fellowship for Young African Leaders. In 2024, she convened the Central Africa Feminist Forum on Beijing+30, reminding participants that “the journey continues, and together, we are making history.”
