Description of the project: Latinas for Climate is an international network of young Latin American feminists that raises awareness about the climate emergency from a gender, human rights and cultural perspective. This project educates girls and young women in the region on understanding climate issues by supporting them in creating virtual content, empowering themselves through action, and raising their voices. Latinas for Climate create dialogue spaces where young women can exchange about their struggles, achieve more representation, and inspire more people. They defend multiple human rights that help reduce gender inequalities.
