During the Opening Session of the joint plenary at COP28 on June 6, WGC Advocate and member of the MENA Feminist Taskforce, Shrine Jurdi made a strong statement that the bodies and lands of women, girls, and gender diverse persons should no longer be the sacrifice zones of the fossil fuel industry.
