About

Global One is a UK-based Muslim women-led international development NGO created in 2013 under the leadership of Dr Husna Ahmad OBE.

Using faith and culture as tools for increasing knowledge and promoting positive behavioural change in communities, Global One also partners locally to create sustainable development solutions in Global Health, Agriculture, Livelihoods and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH).

Since founding, Global One has created and delivered innovative and sustainable projects in Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, Somaliland, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Pakistan, Nepal, Lebanon, Syrian and Palestinian refugees in Jordan, and the UK.
